All that splendid Spam!

April 1, 2014 By Talya Tate Boerner 11 Comments

Whenever I think my blog benefits no one and is a gigantic energy drain, I pause to read my spam comments.  Enthusiastic robot spammers never fail to lift my spirits with such an unapologetic use of adjectives. And all those explanation points!!! Unabashed, gushing love. Sometimes a girl needs to be reminded how incredible(!) and magnificent(!) and astonishing(!) her blog really is. At least that’s what Calvin Klein tells me…

Re: Toad in the Hole Redefined Recipe...I believe this is one of the most important information for me. And I’m glad studying your article. One of my favorite blog post series of mine is my Spam Poetry, where I take subject lines of spam emails and turn them into (often very risqué) poetry. You just have to look at it a different way. I’m almost disappointed now that I get almost no spam on three of my email accounts, because I no longer have source material. 🙂

Ha ha…they seem to be getting more humorous these days, those spammers. Here’s part of a recent spam comment on my blog:
Everyday Gyaan. I do have 2 questions for you if you tend
not to mind. Could it be just me or do a few of the comments look as if they are coming from brain dead folks? 😛

LMAO! Those are a riot! Thanks for sharing. Here I was already to read about the spam my mom used to dish up for dinner and found something entirely different. ♥
