Dear Sunday Letter readers,
Happy Halloween! I’m glad we have nice weather on tap for Halloween tonight because we have lots of candy we need to give away to trick-or-treaters. I sure don’t need bags of chocolate hanging around our house—it wouldn’t last very long.
I can’t tell you how many ‘fun size’ peanut M&Ms I’ve eaten in the past week.😱
Do you typically have trick-or-treaters come to your house? Do you hand out candy or risk a trick?

Since we last “talked”— Fayetteville received nearly seven inches of rain, and we had our first freeze/heavy frost. We saw a gorgeous Blue Moon, and, BOO, John and I skipped Halloween.

Did you remember to “fall back” last night? Once again, the clock high above our pantry door shows the correct time. Until March, anyway. Ha.
FYI, Hawaii and most of Arizona do not observe daylight saving time.
Something to note on this chilly November morning: Daylight Saving Time was never about the farmers. It was originally about saving energy during WWI. Today, I’m not sure what it’s about other than making our bodies feel out of sync. Crazy what one hour can do. Right?
