Dear Sunday Letter friends,
The week went by fast! We even had two or three days without rain. It was nice while it lasted, and I even found enough dry time to cut back my rosebushes.
Now, pardon me while I preach for a moment…
I’m loving these crafty items I made from my 2015 Paper Source calendar. Think about it. Since 2015 is a wrap, there’s no need to keep an old calendar, right? Well… in some cases, the calendar is much too pretty to toss. What’s a clutter-adverse paper enthusiast to do?
Upcycle the art into notecards and bookmarks and file folders, that’s what. Your calendar will live on for a while longer. (#ThisIsNOTAnAd)
Once September rolls around, I am all about decorating for Halloween. I saw a similar recycled book pumpkin project on Pinterest and couldn’t wait to try it.The hardest part of the project for me was selecting which book to use. ‘Defacing’ a book is downright sinful; however, I decided an old Fodor travel book on the Caribbean was expendable. If I return to the islands, I’ll buy a more up-to-date issue.Continue Reading
