The Accidental Rotation of Talya Lea

July 20, 2017 By Talya Tate Boerner

The Accidental Rotation go Talya Lea

Have you heard about my new story? The Accidental Rotation of Talya Lea? Unfortunately it’s true. A memoir…

Tuesday night I fell while watering plants on the porch. Wet flip flops, rushing around. It was ugly. See the little picket fence in the next pic? That’s to keep Lucy and Annabelle on the porch. Amen to the Lusty Tomato

July 17, 2017 By Talya Tate Boerner

the lusty tomatoOne of my favorite things about summer? TOMATOES! There’s nothing like a fresh from the garden, sun-warmed, salt-sprinkled, juice-dripping-down-your-chin tomato. Can I get an Amen? Bowden) had a beautiful way of saying NO. “We have no interest in this deal on any level.”  I love this and always thought it was the equivalent business-speak for “Bless your heart.” End of story. NO room to come back and say, “Well, what if we do it this way?”

I say all this not to moan or preach or pontificate but simply to explain why these days I’m not blogging as often as I once did. Not blogging as much means I’m working on Book Two. Working on my new book means I haven’t been able to pitch freelance article ideas even though I really want to. Maybe I’m a slow writer. As Popeye says, I yam what I yam.Continue Reading
