The whole idea of trying to convey my vision while capturing the mood of the story and delta setting was much more involved than I realized. I love the outcome and can’t wait to get your thoughts on it.
Yes, Gracie Lee mostly traveled by bicycle. The cotton field behind her house provided a temporary escape, a wide open place to think and be and imagine something exceptional. Gracie had plans. Big plans. But sometimes she couldn’t see beyond the trees at the end of the field.
