Apparently my piece was somewhat of a dud, and I didn’t win. But I liked what I wrote, so I’m sharing it with you. Plus it’s about candy. What better time to talk about candy than Halloween?

Drumroll…

Milk Duds rock! Is there a little bit of truth in this piece? Our family has milk dud memories that go way back. To this day our daughter buys her Dad milk duds for Father’s Day.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve wanted to read this ever since you told me what you wrote. I, too, am a “duddy.” Got a box for my birthday from a friend. A little box. Can’t resist them even though my husband says they will pull the fillings out of your teeth. I will post my flash fiction story on my blog.
