I had a photo session in the garden yesterday with my photographer/gardener friend Jerry (Jmac Images). I needed a head shot photo for various blogger events (or so I’m always told), so I bit the bullet and “posed”. Awkward for me. Just ask Jerry.
Until I put on gardening gloves and grabbed the hose. Then it was fun.
Here are a couple of my favorites.
I love the way Jerry captured the garden in the background, the Promise of Peace sign, the blue sky.
Watering my tomatoes…
It was a fun afternoon!
Plus, I discovered another ripe strawberry. Bonus.

Oh, what fun!! The first picture is my favorite. You need different colored gloves to show off that pretty strawberry. Gardening is fun the way you are doing it.
So lovely – the pictures and you, Talya! ♥
Thank you Corinne. I had a great photographer:))
Great photos! Great subject1 Great garden! Get it? 🙂
haha clever Colene!
Beautiful Pictures! It shows you enjoy the garden!
I do! Thanks Winnie.
Hard to choose a favorite,, I love them all !!!!!
Absolutely beautiful photos of you. Love how he captured the water from the hose!
Thanks Kathy. Jerry is great!
The pictures are wonderful. They tell a story. The first photo shows your “cover girl” beauty qualities and shows that you are not only very pretty, but truly beautiful. You have that rare balance of inner and outer as well as stunning cover girl looks. See you soon at writer’s group.
Well aren’t you sweet Jimmie. Yes, see you next week!
Fun! It’s always nice to have something that distracts you from your photo being taken. I’m the same. 🙂
They ALL turned out amazing.
Beautiful strawberries. Mine are always bird-pecked by the time they get that large (but at least I have birds in my yard, so it’s not a total loss).
I was surprised to find one that large. It was beneath a leaf so I think the birds missed it – LOL
Beautiful photographs, beautiful garden, beautiful gardener!
Thank you!
Well, I certainly wouldn’t have thought to use a hose as a prop. Good idea, it turned out really great!
Natural photos are always so fun to look at! I definitely need to do this with my kiddos this summer. 🙂
Cute! It is so hard to get into it isn’t it! They turned out great!
