I fancy myself like Alice in a world jam-packed with comical creatures and inspired imagery. When I feel plucky enough to follow the zany white rabbit, he steers me to places of adventure.
Seeing through my heart and soul, the ordinary becomes curiouser and curiouser.
Some days the door I face is invisible or difficult or impossible to open without first solving riddles and changing my perspective. Other days are filled with uncommon nonsense, a path illogically pointing in both directions leading to chaos and madness. Some days are simple and uncomplicated magical tea party days.
Rabbit holes surround me. Each day is a wonderland.

Is there something in the air today? Is it that the calendar is turned to April now, which speaks to growth and regrowth? I woke up feeling as though a(nother) fire had been lit inside me, inspiring me to move at hyperspeed, and see everything in infinitesimal detail. It’s spectacular and fun and intriguing. An adventure, indeed. Fabulous “A.” ๐

Great idea for A, Talya! My life feels like the Mad Hatter’s tea party at times!

Talya, I’m not sure you do this consciously, but your pictures, the look of your blog and your words have a very calming and soothing effect on me – and I’m sure you touch others too this way. I’m going to love coming back here all of April and after!

A is for Awesomeness which describes your post here! Reading it brought to mind Dr. Seuss’ famous quote, “Today, you are You, that’s truer than true. There is no one alive, who is Youer than You!”…Welllll Doggies!…Ain’t that the truth?=) And we addicted readers of yours love reading your blog! What can I say? You, Dr. Seuss, and this April Blog Challenge have inspired me to write you a little serendipitous bluesy song of encouragement and inspiration, which I don’t think you’ll need, but anyhow…wanna hear it? Here it go!=)…”wawaaawuhwah…You just Rock!…wawaawuhwah…You just Do!…wahwaawuhwah…So just keep on!…wahwaawuhwah…Just being you!”=)…not bad, huh?…so, after they read my lyrics, you think the Grammy people gonna be calling me soon, or what…okay, okay, okay…probably not…oh well.=) Anyway, Awesome start to your “A to Z April Blog Challenge.” Best wishes on the rest of the month! You got this, you do!=)

I saw the cotton field and thought you were in Texas, then I read the blog title. We grew cotton once as an experiment, just to see how difficult it would be to grow. It was much easier than I thought it would be. I also like the photo of the wildflowers. It reminds me of purple wildflowers that grow in New Mexico–they curl up like creeping caterpillars. Nice blog!
Talya Tate Boerner says
Thank you! I do live in Texas but I am originally from Northeast Arkansas which is where the cotton pic was taken:)

How serendipitous to read your new blogging project, just after reading one of my first poems, an ABC-all the way to Z poem called Mr. Greengrave. I may read it tonight at the Lucidity Read-Around. Then again, I may not.xoxo
