Sunday Letter: 02.06.22

Sunday Letter

Dear Sunday Letter friends,

Good morning to you! With coffee in hand, I’m ready to tackle another week. How about you?

Everything unfolded just as our local weather guy predicted, starting with freezing rain on Wednesday afternoon which quickly changed to sleet. While we slept, the snow began falling in earnest. We woke to a quiet magical world with several inches. Then, the snow continued to fall the entire day into night.

For our area, it was a lot of snow.Continue Reading

Dear Sunday Letter friends,

Have you missed me? I’ve missed myself. Ha. I’ve been a little lost for the past two weeks, but now a fresh new battery lives in my MacBook and all is calm in my world again. John guessed somewhere in the Northeast since his grandmother lived in a condominium. According to Peanuts Fandom, there’s disagreement regarding the location of Charlie Brown’s home. Earliest comic strips eluded to California where Shultz’s office was located. Later, several references (and lots of snow) directed fans to a Charlie Brown neighborhood in Minnesota where Shultz grew up.

Regardless, we won’t be having snow in Fayetteville this Christmas. Our forecasted high for Christmas Day is 72.

Good grief!

I decided to create the illusion of Charlie Brown snow from our dining room windows. Sometimes a girl has to take things into her own hands. Continue Reading
