S is for Sunrise

April 22, 2013 By Talya Tate Boerner

Sunrise
glows rosy,
peeking
through windows
stirring
my thoughts so
awash
with promise.
A dove
sings wooo-wooo,
morning
has broken,
a new
day awaits.

Happy Earth Day!
