Hello Fifty-Five.

This is Fifty-Five

Hello FIFTY-FIVE, and happy birthday to me. Today I’m celebrating another trip around the sun. I happen to love birthdays, and I’m not one of those people who despairs over her age, BUT, I do declare there seems to be something a wee bit supernatural going on. Mid-January Thinks and Ungoals

January 18, 2017 By Talya Tate Boerner 11 Comments

Mid-January thinks and ungoalsSince we’re on the backside of January, I thought I’d share my mid-January thinks and ungoals. If January is ideal for one thing, it’s thinking and planning. And re-thinking and re-grouping. January gives us a psychological clean slate.

Give me a clean slate and a piece of chalk and I will rule the world. ?

I know it’s early. Probably too early to call anything successful, but I’m feeling good about what I’ve done in the new year. Tip—if you wait long enough you can purchase at 20% off. I haven’t worked out a single time other than walking the dogs and doing yoga once at home. Sorta.Continue Reading

One Little Word 2017

If you’re new to the One Little Word idea (the brainchild of blogger Ali Edwards), the essence of it is this: you choose one word and rally around it during the year. And there’s something magical about it. The power of suggestion. The power of the mind. Call it what you will, but for me, if I make a concentrated effort to center my thoughts around a word or an idea, that word plays an active role in my life. Sort of a “dream it and it will happen” thing.

One Little Word can lead to big things.

This will be my third year, third word, and I’m looking forward to what the future holds.
