WHAT? A book launch party held online means there’s no reason not to “attend”. You can wear your most comfy clothes and participate from your couch with favorite beverage in hand.

WHY? Because—it’s time! We had a virtual party in 2016 for the release of The Accidental Salvation of Gracie Lee and it was so much fun. A second book is no less worthy of celebration. Actually, a second book may be more worthy because I am crazy enough to jump back in. LOL.

Back when I introduced you to One Mississippi Press, I let you in on the news that I have my rights back for The Accidental Salvation of Gracie Lee. And I compared it to rediscovering a misplaced treasure.

Oh my heart. This process has been like creating something I loved, loaning it to someone else, and finally holding it in my hands again. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been polishing Gracie Lee, making her shine even brighter than before.

Oh my goodness! Today is Gene, Everywhere cover reveal day. If books were babies, this would be the gender reveal party— minus the balloons and cake. Of course, if you have balloons and cake, please, please, break them out.

I was planning to do my cover reveal next week, but I couldn’t wait another day. See? Now that I’m the boss of my book, I can change plans on the fly.

Plus, we aren’t getting any younger. And March 10 is getting closer and closer.

March 10 is my official release date, y’all!
