Book Reviews April 2021

Book Reviews, April 2021:

I didn’t do as much reading in April as I would have liked. When the garden calls, reading takes a back seat to weeding and planting and mulching. Still, I managed to squeeze in a few pages.

From the islands of the Pacific Northwest to the swamps of South Carolina, I met immigrants and foster children, the homeless and reckless and those simply treading water. Oh wait, that’s all of us, right?

March Book Reviews

Hello my devoted reader friends! Another month means more books to read and review. My book reviews for March 2021 are a mixed bag in every sense. Oooh, I’m excited to share my book reviews for February with you. And what a varied group they are. I didn’t plan it. Often my books are simply devoured in the order they become available at the Fayetteville Public Library. (I have a long wait list of books at the library. Doesn’t everybody?)

Three of these books were recommended by friends. Yay for recommendations!

From Mexico to Paris, dusty Oklahoma to a lush forest in Pennsylvania, I was awed, angered, amazed, and thoroughly entertained by these reads.

I hope you will find your next read in this group of stories. Continue Reading
