Dear Gracie Lee Fan Club Members,
I like the way this is going so far.
I am so blown away by the way friends and family and people I’ve never metย have embraced The Accidental Salvation of Gracie Lee. I don’t know what I expected, but I certainly didn’t expect such excitement. The fact that anyone takes time out of a beautiful spring day to attend a book signing makes me happy. But the number of people who have been to two and three books signings is astounding!
That’s a fan club, I think.
A wonderful surprise waited for me when I returned home to Fayetteville yesterdayโa scrapbook made by Margaret Garrett, who partially inspired my Maggie characterโgood traits only! Margaretย created a detailed keepsake of my Little Rock book signing at WordsWorth Books.
I forgot how nice it is to have real, printed photographs…
And she nailed the embellishments!
I don’t think Margaretย spends muchย time on the computer or reads my blog, but I want everyone to see a few pages. Maybe someone will tell herย THANK YOU for me!!
Margaret’s with Gracie Lee, for sure.
I treasure it already.
Farm. Food. Garden. Life.

Oh, this is just fabulous! I love the scrapbook! So cute and creative and thoughtful of her! What a treasure!
Thank you! I love it.
Margaret is a jewel. You and both know that although this was fun for her create, it was still a labor of love. Thank you, Margaret!
And I’ve been in your fan club from the very beginning.
Hey Talya! Wanted to tell that Beth & I had a great time Saturday exchanging stories, talking about younger years & taking pictures. Hated to rush off but you had got swamped plus my favorite sister in law had a dog crisis @ the Scottish Festival. We are looking forward to the next book. I have to say being a card carrying member of Boo Chapel & growing up in that hwy 140, 77 area your book brought back a lot of memories of my youth. I really enjoyed picking the characters out of the fiction & being able to put a real name to them. Have a great day!
Such a tasteful, thoughtful gift! I know you will always treasure it.
Blessings, Talya!
