With ten days until book release, I have news to share and dates for you to keep in mind including how you can read the entire third chapter of my book in advance. With ten days until book release, be prepared. This is all I’m focused on.
Goodreads. I have a Goodreads Author Page. It feels surreal to know a few reviewers have already read my book and posted reviews. You can read the reviews if you are so inclined, add your own later (pretty please), and follow my page for future info, including giveaways and who knows what because this is oh so new to me.
Kindle. My book is available on Kindle for $4.99 through Amazon. Although I prefer paper books, I do like to download books to my iPhone so I’m never without a book. A great option if that’s your thing.
Pop-up Book Readings. Mark your calendar! Each day at noon during the week leading to my official book launch date (M-Th, January 25 – 28), I will be doing Pop-Up Book Readings on Periscope. These readings will be short — only a few minutes, a few paragraphs— and each day’s reading will be from a different Fayetteville location. So not only will you get to hear a snippet from the book, I’ll provide you with a look at some cool place in Northwest Arkansas. Please share and invite your Periscope friends to join me @gracegrits. (If you want to listen to these live readings and aren’t on Periscope, click HERE to find out more about it. You can join without being on Twitter.)
Virtual Book Launch Party. You should have already received an invitation to my Virtual Book Launch Party to be held on Facebook. If not, I hope you’ll join me. I have lots of fun things planned including giveaways provided by generous local businesses like Southern Girl Soapery, Hearthomes, and By Camille.
Farm Bureau Members / Front Porch Magazine Subscribers. I’m soooo appreciative of Arkansas Farm Bureau! As a farm family from way back, we’ve been members forever (shout out to Osceola Farm Bureau!). And for the past two years, I’ve been writing a regular “Delta Child” column in the Farm Bureau Front Porch Magazine. This month for the winter issue, Front Porch is featuring my book by including the entire third chapter as well as my regular column. Your magazine should arrive soon! (January 23rd-ish, I’m told.) Even if you aren’t a member, you can read the article on-line HERE.
Be sure to check my website for up-to-date events. Hold on tight—the final countdown has begun. For real.
Farm. Food. Garden. Life.

So exciting, Tayla! I’m looking forward to reading it!
With regards to Goodreads, I would LOVE to create an author page there for my novels, but have no clue how to go about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! You can contact me through my website: http://www.gladetrilogy.wix.com/theglade.
Thanks so much and best of luck with the launch!
