Book Launch Eve!

January 27, 2016 By Talya Tate Boerner

Book Launch Eve!

It’s Book Launch Eve and I have several book related things to talk about today (surprise, surprise) including a giveaway, launch parties, chocolate and wine! (This post is sponsored by The Women Bloggers for Kendal King Group, Ghirardelli Chocolate and Josh Cellars. Of course, all opinions about chocolate, wine, and my book are my own.)

Goodreads Giveaway: My publisher is hosting a Goodreads Giveaway. Woot! Click HERE and enter to win a copy of The Accidental Salvation of Gracie Lee. There are three, first edition, signed copies available. (The giveaway doesn’t start until tomorrow, but you can go check it out today and add my book to your Goodreads bookshelf.)

Launch Parties: I’ve been working like crazy on my Launch Party. Not only am I having a Virtual Launch Party on Facebook (which you’ll be attending, right?), but I’m also hosting a few friends at my home beforehand for a Chocolate~Wine~Book Launch Party, because what goes together better than chocolate, wine and a good book?

You know I’ll do an after-party post, but here’s a sneak peak of my gift bags (filled with goodies including my book and Ghirardelli Chocolate.)

Book Launch Party gift bags!

What would Gracie Lee do?

She’d do a taste test of all the chocolate before serving it. Of course!

Ghirardelli Chocolate - perfect for my book launch party!

And what would Gracie Lee recommend?

She’d recommend that you pick up some Ghirardelli Chocolate today (you can buy it at Walmart), and we can all be decadent together during the Virtual Book Launch Party.

Pre-Order: Today’s the last day to pre-order a signed copy of The Accidental Salvation of Gracie Lee through my publisher. After today you’ll have to attend a book signing or somehow track me down to get it signed. Follow my author website to stay up-to-date on book signings.

Pop-Up Book Reading: Don’t forget to join me at noon today and tomorrow for my Periscope Pop-Up Book Readings. Or watch the rebroadcast. They are dorky fun. (My handle is @gracegrits.)

Fayetteville Arkansas People: Nightbird Books has copies of my books for sale (beginning tomorrow) so be sure to shop local and support Indie.

Gracie Lee T-shirts: Lots of sizes sold out super fast but more are coming, I promise. They are cute!!

Amazon: According to my publisher, my book cracked the top 100 (#88) this morning in Amazon sales rankings. Even though the whole ranking thing is somewhat of a mystery to everyone, (including Amazon?) that’s a cool thing. Especially since it’s only Book Launch Eve!

Ghirardelli chocolate is a favorite. Sometimes, I buy a big bar to carry in my purse, so I can have a square or two each day. I’m planning on being at the book launch party (baring news about my friend’s mother). You are definitely doing this thing right.

Happy Book Launch Eve! The day is almost here. Great song pick; I always loved the Drifters. I must go get some Ghirardelli Chocolates. So excited.

This is in my genre which is something like fiction and literary – culture and heritage. Not as in all the books:) But still exciting!
