Lucy and Annabelle had a weekend guest!

November 9, 2015 By Talya Tate Boerner

Lucy and Annabelle had a weekend guest.Lucy and Annabelle had a weekend guest! Chester from Dallas visited with his people, Harold and Gale. Although it had been a year since the canine friends had been together, they picked right up where they’d left off. Chester stole Annabelle’s rawhide, and Annabelle got upset.

I didn’t dare let the girls know Chester was coming until he was ten minutes away. As soon as I announced, “Chester’s coming to visit!”, Lucy and Annabelle barked and watched for Chester from the front porch. They knew exactly who I meant.

It was a busy weekend filled with ball fetching, long walks, and football game watching.

We had fun at Farmer’s Market, and Chester learned to call the hogs.

But as all good things must end, Chester is headed back home to Texas. Lucy and Annabelle hope to visit him at Christmas. Now to rest up from all the weekend excitement.

Tom: “Now that’s real country music, not all that other stuff with flashing lights.”
Looks like you had a nice weekend and good weather too. Nice blog.

I read this out to Pablo who asked me if there was a chance of Lucy, Annabelle and Chester visiting here! 🙂

Love this post. Glad the girls got to see Chester again. When Gary has to go out of town, his dog stays with a friend who has two dogs. That’s what you call a close friendship.
