Simple Pleasures #5

November 3, 2014 By Talya Tate Boerner

Simple pleasures. Things Iย can count on like one-two-three. Uncomplicated things. That’s what I’mย recapping from last week.

1. Decorating for Halloween. I’ve had this string of lights forever. Knock-on-wood, they don’t make ’em like this anymore.

2.ย Perfect, homemade chocolate icing. Recipe coming soon…

3. New Converse. Converse tennis shoes are part of my typical “uniform”. These are Razorback red. WPS!

4. Spending time with my oldest best-est friend. Seriously. Elementary school.

5.ย Cool find at Dickson Street Bookshop. Yes, I “adopted” another book. How could I not? It’s about the Mississippi Delta!

Here’s wishing you a week filled with comfortable shoes, best friends and chocolate.

Love it – the Red tennis shoes are great!
Looking forward to a great week of Simple Pleasure in the Country. I think I’ll start with a visit the garden.

It’s nice slowing down and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. It’s something I’m constantly reminding myself to do and so neccessary. I’m looking forward to the chocolate frosting recipe, chocolate is always a good thing. Enjoy your week!

Those ‘hog’ colored-Converse are burning my retinas! Now the soothing style of my Maroon and White Converse are much more pleasing!
