Faith

May 24, 2013 By Talya Tate Boerner 8 Comments

I
am
not
lost,
alone,
scared.
Certain
daybreak
shall dawn,
I believe in
my tomorrows.

talya

Note:  This poem is in the style of a Snowball—each line of text is one character longer than the preceding line.

100 Years, Five For Fighting

Very Cool, Talya! And I couldn’t help but count the letters…haha…and you are spot on! Awesome! Also, I like the idea of using the Snowball style in a poem about Faith. It is cool that our faith in something good continues to grow.

Tayla, that is neat. I had not heard of the Snowball style in a poem. I will have to try one too. I love how lyrical this is. It is beautiful. 🙂

Another brilliant poem from you, Talya. I so like how you experiment with various writing styles and do each of them so well!
