and I was gone too,
Lucy and Annabelle
had nothing to do.
At home all alone
on that cold, cold
wet day.

What should they play?

Thing One and Thing Two
looked around the house
there was plenty to do!
Mail could be chewed
toilet paper was fun!
Shoes could be moved
Who needed the sun?
But as a reminder
at the end of the day
a final gift on the floor
Was it true? They prayed….
