Sunday Letter: 11.28.21

November 28, 2021 By Talya Tate Boerner 6 Comments

Good morning, Sunday Letter friends—

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving (or at least survived it).

Today is the first Sunday of Advent. I love this time of year as we begin to anticipate the Christmas season and the birth of Jesus. The word Advent is derived from the Latin word “Adventus” which means coming in Latin.

My house is still decorated for Thanksgiving but over the next few days, I will put away the turkey decor and bring on the holly-jolly.

Sunday Letter

I know some people can’t go outside and play because of illness or other reason, but if we would all stop stewing about the past and start dreaming of the future, I tend to believe our days would look brighter.

Last week, the inauguration occurred without incident. I hope for the sake of our nation, we can move forward and heal.

Two other notable things happened at our house: Gracie got her first haircut, and I finished the first round of edits for my next book!
