Sunday Letter: 04.26.2020

April 26, 2020 By Talya Tate Boerner

Dear Sunday Letter friends,

Hi there! I hope everyone is hanging in there during these crazy times. I’m not gonna lie. A couple of days this week, I thought I might climb the walls. I’ve been inside my head, going a bit mad. I want to go to the lake, travel to see my kids, sit at a table at a restaurant and eat something delicious that doesn’t involve washing the dishes afterward.

I want to take my new book on the road and talk to book clubs and libraries.

Rainy days are especially awful right now. And we’ve been experiencing this monotonous, every other day pattern.

Sunday Letter

Dear Sunday Letter friends,

What a week.

The coronavirus continues to spread, the stock market is vacillating, we survived Friday the 13th, and today is the Ides of March.

If you have already purchased a book (or two or three)—hardback, paperback, or ebook—thank you! And if you’ve already posted a review on Amazon and Goodreads, YAYYYYY!!!

But seriously.

Everything feels surreal right now as events have been cancelled and people are told to practice social distancing. Until this week, I’d never heard the phrase social distancing. Confession: Not to minimizing what’s going on, as an (extroverted) introvert, I’ve been doing this my whole life:))

March 4, 2020 By Talya Tate Boerner

all the tiny weed flowers

I love this time of year when all the tiny weed flowers begin blooming. Tiny weed flowers are a sure sign that spring is just around the bend. I’ve already noticed a few butterflies flitting about in our yard!

In earliest spring after a long winter’s nap, the early butterflies and bees are hungry for nectar. Tiny weed flowers provide a sweet buffet for our earliest pollinators.

If your goal is to rid your yard of these plants, I encourage you to look at them in a different light.
