Lesson of Sunrise

July 20, 2013 By Talya Tate Boerner

The Writers’ Post Blog Hop #86 – The Lesson

Like dewdrops
Each morning, a speck of glimmering
Silver, every
Sunrise
Offers new promise until our moments evaporate into
Night.

Musical Pairing

Sunrise, Norah Jones

S is for Sunrise

April 22, 2013 By Talya Tate Boerner

Sunrise
glows rosy,
peeking
through windows
stirring
my thoughts so
awash
with promise.
A dove
sings wooo-wooo,
morning
has broken,
a new
day awaits.

Happy Earth Day!
