Sunday Letter

Dear Sunday Letter friends,

This Sunday Letter has a bit of a reptilian theme. Yes, the topics are a little out there. Where else can you read about Frog and Toad, Godzilla, and Chicken Piccata in the same place? Nowhere. I googled it.

This, of course, begs the question, “What do Godzilla and Frog and Toad eat? Chicken Piccata?” Ha. Not to my knowledge. There’s some talk on the interwebs that Godzilla once ate a Fiat, but the truth is, he spit it out. Godzilla feeds off radiation. Not Italian cars or Italian food.

And Frog and Toad? Well, any true fan knows these friends eat cookies.

Book News: New Headshot and more!

Book News:

With a new book release just around the corner, the time has come for a new headshot. I am NOT a fan of having to get a new headshot, but I believe it’s a good idea to have an updated picture for a brand new book. And a selfie from my iPhone won’t do for print and digital use. It has to be a high resolution photo.

The good news—my husband agreed to take my picture. He has a real camera, and he recently completed a couple of photography classes at the University of Arkansas. I’m all for saving money.

Planting Tulip Bulbs (a tad bit late)

Planting Tulips

We finally planted tulips bulbs this week. I wanted to get them into their winter beds before Christmas, but life slipped in and provided other distractions. For a few weeks, our box of bulbs traveled around in the trunk of John’s car where at least they stayed nice and cool. Yes, it’s a tad bit late to plant tulips, but I think they will be okay. The ten day forecast looks mighty cold. Cold will be a good thing for our bulbs now (hopefully) dozing in the soil.

The seasons seem confused. I suppose our bulbs may be too.
