Best Ever Homemade Granola!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup raw chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup raw slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup raw chopped pistachios
  • 2 Tablespoons roasted flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup dried cherries
  • 1/3 cup dried raisins

Method
 

  1. Cover baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together oats, nuts, seeds, cinnamon, and salt. Add oil, honey, and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. Pour onto baking sheet and press down to flatten.
  4. Bake 22-25 minutes, stirring at the halfway point.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle fruit over granola.
  6. Let granola cool one hour before breaking into pieces.
  7. Store in an airtight container. It will last at least two weeks - possibly more but we always eat it before then.
